Here are the first three tracks of Dark Side of the Moon, the album that pretty much made Pink Floyd in terms of their popularity and the respect they get (and also one of the albums their detractors criticize the most.)
I'm interested in a little discussion regarding several points:
My thoughts will be posted on the board, please post yours too. It's been too long since we discussed a spot of music, I think.
The MP3's are large. I recorded them at full CD quality. I **HIGHLY** reccomend listening to them with headphones. Seriously- you will miss a LOT if you listen to them on a standard set of speakers, even on a good stereo. I would advise getting all three from one set and listening to them in order, as they are designed to run into each other (the whole album is that way), and then do the 2nd set. The second track (On the Run) is included mostly for continuity, I'm more interested in people's thoughts about the first and third ones. Give each a few listens at least, let it soak in, etc. And of course, enjoy! That said...
